How to find your purpose

To find your purpose, you need to know who you are,
so listen to your voice or you’ll live someone else’s life.
Unlearn what others told you your vision of things should be,
learn to focus on your own goals and go after your own dreams.
What you truly want is something that makes you feel alive.
The best way to know what that is is to give it all a try.
Don’t write off anything before you give it a shot,
take the time to really see if you like something or not.
Know what your passion is and what’s your expertise,
who you feel compassion for and what’s the thing you can bring.
What causes you the biggest joy or the biggest pain
is a hint on what you could do to make the world a better place.
To find your purpose, be honest with yourself,
know what your strengths are, be self-aware.
Don’t feel the worst at anything nor the best,
find the right balance between ego and self-confidence.
You don’t know what you’re capable of until you give it a go,
and if things don’t work out, you might just need to try a bit more.
Don’t misinterpret inexperience as a lack of qualification,
put in some time and some effort - it might be a revelation.
The process will make you grow, the time spent won’t be wasted.
And when you find that precious jewel, make sure to really protect it.
“The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose is to give it away.”
Serve others, engage in making a difference every single day.
