but they know how to fall and to get back up.

and trust there is going to be a reward.

they pay attention to their body and mind.
They know their emotions emerge for a reason,
so they listen carefully and make sure to be present.
They know that everything is connected,
that good habits keep their physical and mental health protected.
They invest in healthy eating, good sleep, exercise and movement,
they know that mastering the basics is the way to improvement.
Happy people know happiness is not only about self-care,
investing in those they love is an essential to get there.
They turn to others, reach out and connect,
they show up, socialize, and don’t hesitate to offer their help.
Happy people are grateful and keep counting their blessings,
they know there isn’t much to gain from complaining and griping.
They show self-compassion and give others the benefit of the doubt,
it helps them nip the spirals of negative emotions in the bud.
They recognise what they can control and what they can’t,
bad stuff is inevitable but their reaction only depends on them.
They know they’re not alone and that anything can change,
their level of happiness is in their own hands.
